CSGPDC Chair
Siddharth De
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Bio: Siddharth is a 2nd year MS-CSEN student. His research interests lie in Computer Vision and Robotics. In his free time, he enjoys doing puzzles especially the daily NYT games.
The chair’s responsibilities are to:
- Manage all open activities and events
- Work closely with identified resources (both on and off campus) to organize events.
- Work on identifying questions from various companies to run the practice coding events
- Host meetings of CS-GPDC
- Arrange meetings and develop agenda
- Assign responsibilities to members as appropriately
CSGPDC Vice Chair
Saksham Khatwani
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Bio: Saksham is a research student passionate about contributing to the department and fostering professional growth alongside peers. He works on various NLP research projects, including those focused on low-resource languages and semantic text representations. Outside of academics, he enjoys cooking, often with a food documentary playing in the background.
The vice chair’s responsibilities are to:
- Run CS-GPDC meetings in the chair’s absence
- Manage and maintain organizational documents
- Manage regular email communication with members and student body
- Be responsible for minutes of meetings
- Assist the Chair where necessary
CSGPDC Treasurer
Ankur Varma
Pronouns: He/Him/His
Bio: Ankur Varma is a second year CSEN-MS student who is excited about studying reachablity analysis for Cyber Physical systems. In his free time he likes doing calisthenics workouts.
The treasurer’s responsibilities are to:
- Handle any and all financial matters
- Apply for funding each year from multiple sources
- Submit reimbursement forms when needed
- Assist the Chair where necessary
- Report regularly on financial status of the organization
